I have a 87 Bronco2 (fm-145) and and a complete 89 bronco2 (fm-146) donor vehicle. I want to put the 89 fm-146 into the 87.

Problem...
clutch slave cylinder is different, also bellhousing and front bearing retainer.

possible solutions...
1. Change bellhousing and front bearing retainer from fm-146 to fm145 to accept the 87 slave cylinder

or

2. change master/slave cylinder over to the 89

thanks

ok heres wut you do, undo all the belhousing-block bolts undo the master cylinder at the firewall undo the driveshafts and drop the belhousing tranny and master cylinder and at once out of the 87 (do the 87 first cause you can break stuff in order to figure out how to take the good stuff out of the 89 properly without breaking anything) and do the same to the 89 and then put the 89 stuff in the 87 the same way it came out.

Do yourself a favor :replace the front bearing in the 146. If it isn't bad yet it will be.
