flywheel to crankshaft

i was torqueing down my flywheel bolts and checked the site for the 4.0 v6 it says 75-85 wen i got to 55 the stretch bolts my local ford dealer sold me twisted in half so i called them talked to a mechanic and he sed 50 is really pushin it but 45 is fine, so idk if the site info is wrong but thaught id let u guys no

Shop manual calls for 54-67 lbs-ft. Did the bolts twist in half or snap? Soft bolts will twist, hardened ones snap, I'd get another opion.

the shop called em twist bolts, and the they twisted in half, i was able to loosen em up and take em out bfor they broke off inside, tryed 2 bolts, thaught the first was just a mishap guess not
