ok guys just wondering if anyone on here ties their own flies if so where do u guys get ur hackle cause all the stuff i am finding is expensive and i dont mind paying that much but if i can find it cheaper i would deffinantly be happier than paying 40 for 40 feathers on a skin patch for grade 1

If u tie your own, go to hobby lobby, michales, and any craft stores and u will find lots of materials and a hell of a lot cheaper than bass pros selection.

ok thanks man yea i just made my own hackle clip using s fich hook remover and then made a thread bobbin out of a mechanical pencil and paper clip and both work great!!!!

My father-in-law used to buy his stuff from Herters. Don't know if they exist any longer.

thats where my grandparents use to get it but i think they went out of bussiness
