I had the transmission flushed, filter changed, dex iii added. also changed the oil with castrol edge 10-40. its like some on put a new motor in the b2 and swapped out the tranny. what a differance. this is the first time that ive had the tranny serviced and ive had the rig for 3 yrs. should give the a4ld a little more life till i can find a c4 to put in it.

Amazing what a big difference can be made by doing something so simple!:icon_thumby:

Never had the A4LD, but I have never heard anything good about them....I don't think they could be any worse than the C3 in my 84 Ranger....could they? ? :dunno:

my understanding is that the c3 and the a4ld is the same transmission but the a4ld has overdrive.
i could be wrong, im still learning.
