Floppy Doors

I bought my 2000 XLT Ranger with 110,000 miles on it. The doors groaned when I oppened them. I hit them with a little white grease and now they won't stay open in the mid position they just swing open or closed. Are they just worn out or is there something I can do to get them to catch the middle notch?

replace the hinges. i think the notch is worn off

OK thanks, was hoping there was an easier fix, other than a block of wood.
