I'm trying to find out how to fix the actuator (or whatever works the floor vent). I believe it is the actuator gone but I don't know where to find it or how to access it. I've found lots of info on the blend door, but that's not my problem. When I select anything that directs air to the floor, it goes to defrost, everything else works, front vents, defrost, off, but nothing goes to the floor. I checked the lines beside the glove compartment and they seem fine. Thanks

The vacuum control motor is on the far left side of the heater box. It has one yellow and one blue vacuum line going to it. This motor controls the floor/panel door. On full floor mode both the yellow and blue vacuum lines should have vacuum. You most likely had a vacuum leak causing your problem. If you get lucky you will find the leak just by looking for a loose or damaged vacuum line. If you don't see anything a hand vacuum pump would be helpful for testing the vacuum control system.
