hey im looking at bringing my 89 B2 back to buisness. shes gonna need alot of work, she isnt getting any spark so im gonna change the coil and TFI from my blue b2 which will soon see the crusher, and i might cut the roof off her to put on the 89 im gonna bring back to life. but i remember the last couple times i drove her. id pull her down in Drive, and i had to rev her up in order for her to go in gear, and the very last time i drove her, she was grinding and clunking to go in gear and she just barely kicked in.
in my 89, she also has an a4ld but its the floor shift(which im not fond of) so i was wondering how hard would it be to hook it up to column shift? im thinking just trace the linkage up from the column that goes down under her and connect that to the trans linkage for the stock shifter? i would it be just as easy to throw in the floor shift?
thanks
