What all do I need in addition to the new flexplat? This is for my 1996 Mazda b4000 with an auto. The flexplate gave out yesterday and will be dropping the tranny here tonight!

Thanks

Check the spacer. A bad spacer is a common cause or flex plate failure.

x2. The spacer can also throw the torque converter slightly out of alignment. If that happens? It will eat the front seal and bushing out of the transmission.

New one is always ideal...and give it a light coating of grease if the snout of the converter does slip into it. (Not sure on yours? But on the one in the 2.9's and a4ld's..they do)
