i am having troubles finding 3.0 flex fuel heads. can i swap them with non flex fuel heads? and will my truck run different? thank you for the help

I'd say you would probably be fine with regular heads, but, because I don't know for sure, I'd look for either a ranger 3.0FFV or a Taurus FFV in the junkyard (remember to use the right headgaskets!!). If I couldn't find either of those (HA!! We have 3.0 FFV Tauruses up the wazzu here!) I'd Throw two regular heads on it. For some reason I remember the compression being a little different between the two, but my book doesn't show anything, and I don't remember where I heard there was a difference. I mess with so many different engines (some of which are Very VERY unusual), That I just can't keep them straight in my head.

thanks for the help
