so as some know i picked up a 92 expo 4dr 4x4 that was in really rough shape. exp. cracked winshield, loud clunking comming from front end, bumpers bent to hell, grill missin, dents all over, seats are shredded to pieces, 4lo doesnt work, and alot more. as of tonight i have the clunking front end fixed which was the radius arm bushings. I used a 10lbs sledge and hit the back bumper back into place so now it actually looks decent. tomorrow i will be removing the front bumper and installing my grill gaurd so i wont need a bumper, now to fix 4lo i was wondering if i could swap out my manual shift tcase off my 84 b2 and instal it on the 92 which has a 5 speed manual?

it will bolt up, but then you will have to modify driveshafts. my 84 bII has the same front u-joint as my 91 ex donor, so maybe you could use the bII front driveshaft, and have one made for the rear.

thanks roadrunner i will look into the driveshafts, if not i have a guy that does driveshafts for a living so hopefully i can get it done before much more snow comes
