Fix my rattle...

Stock 2008 sport. Factory stereo and everything.
Sounds pretty good...by what I have it to compare to.

Anyway, there's a bass-induced rattle on each side in the front. Didn't take long to narrow it down to the window crank handles...specifically the round knob, not the handle or arm itself. The rattling stops if I keep my hand on my knob..... ...... .....yeah....so anyway....

I'd need some sort of a shim or something to snug them up a little.

Anyone fix this before and find some wonder-part?

put a rubber band around it, small hair tie ect ect

Ahh..hair tie. I thought of a little rubber band or something, but it would chew up a rubber band each time you roll the window up or down. A hair tie with the fabric cover would slide...and I just happen to have a daughter that leaves at least 20 of them in each room in the house...

i took a sponge and cut off a little piece and stuck itto the roller piece so it gives it a little resistance but doesnt hinder the rolling action of the knob.

I kind of enjoy the rattle.

It lets everyone know, "Yeah, Ive got bass"

but isnt the idea of putting better speakers in your truck so you can hear music better?
