OK, im thinking a std C clip could be inserted at bottom of spring washer......gonna give it a try, that would bolster it correctly, course getting in on mit be a pita, i mit need to buy a dozen..lolololok found this hths someone else!
For the washer, you can use a bronze washer, available at marine stores. You can buy a bag of various springs from Home Depot. You can put a tube of shrink wrap over the arm that goes into the visor. I bolted mine to my roof with 1/4" bolts and nyl-nuts.
