How many of y'all like to go fishin. If it was up to me I'd quit my job and fish 24/7. I like to bass fish.Whats your guys favorite?

I like saltwater fishing & have licenses from NY, NJ and Ct. I like Striped Bass fishing the best. But I love eating mackeral (fish w/ tree). I hope to go Porgy fishing next week.
Also looking forward to the first day(someday) to catch squid-

edit: Too much rain falling to fish :bawling: -

I love fishing. The three S's of the Sacramento River, Salmon, Striper, and Sturgeon. And if you didn't know the Salmon are hitting hard on the Feather River up by you right now.

Lake fishing is what I do most, but my favorite fishing is Deep Sea fishing. These fish I caught just about a week ago at a private lake that I have access to. Really a pretty good setup, an older client of mine recently had to go into a nursing home. She has about 175 acres and one large 10 acre-ish lake and a pretty good size pond. I have free access to the land as long as I patrol it once a week and make sure that people don't trespass. In about 4 hours my brother, father in law, and I caught about 40 fish. 20 or so were about the size of these in the photos. We mainly catch and release, but I kept any that swallowed the hook and probably would have died. They are healthy looking fish considering the really bad drought that we had this summer. A lot of local fish don't look half as good as these.

This was one that I kept because he was bleeding pretty bad.

My brother caught this one... when I saw the fish while he was reeling it in I yelled "GET THE NET!!!". Fun stuff.

I love fishing, not huge on deep sea. ill fish for anything and usually don't eat 'em. used to fish lake ontario quite a bit when I lived in canada, but now mostly small lakes. I think the most fun is river fishing.... you never know what you're going to pull out of the water.... boots, tires, 50lb carps, etc

I've always wanted to go deep sea fishing but never had the money to. As for river fishing never been either but I've got quite a few buddies that do.

So I know bass aren't really in full swing as far as spawn yet but thought I'd go out and try it a couple weekends ago...
