A local commercial construction company has asked me to do some photography for them. I've found that the 17mm (on my 17 55mm f/2.8) lens is not going to be wide enough for some of the photos they want. So, I did a little research, and the Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8 seems to be my best option:

It's got great reviews, so I ordered it yesterday, should arrive tomorrow.
I checked it out on NikonCafe, and found a couple interesting shots, using the 10.5mm f/2.8:
With it's 180 degree view, barrel distortion is one of the properties of a fisheye lens. Nikon Capture NX 2 has a utility to remove this distortion from
images taken with a fisheye lens.
I can't wait to play with this lens! Look for photos shortly!!!
