ok so i have a 04 ranger edge 2WD... i know its not much but whatever its my first truck and i have had it for roughly a over 3 years........so im tired of the stock look and i want my truck to look more aggressive so with that said i have been looking around and i dont want to put a lift kit on it simply because its not a 4x4 and really there is no point of doing that so.......................

Whats the biggest wheel and tire i can put on the truck w/out lifting it?
Do i have to put a lift kit on it?
and what are spacers?

i have been going around to different shops and i feel like they are just going after my pocket with out be 100% honest with me and i say that because I've been to at least 4 shops and they all said something different. so please help me out. im really looking forward to my trucks makeover but i need help to do so. thanx

ok first off, avoid shops, shops fix factory crap, a truck owner builds his own rig. second, why not pre-runner your 2wd? or street truck? or sell it and buy a 4x4 and go have fun, but then again i dont know why people knock 2wd, i bet i have done more and gone farther in a 2wd ranger than a lot of people do in jeeps...

yea i thought about selling it and upgrading to a 4x4 but financially it would not be the best move for me to make so im stuck with what i got........any ideas?

The FAQs list tire sizes for different year Rangers, I'd read that first and fit what you're comfortable with. Don't forget that the gearing is going to change. Been where you're at and sold/bought 4x4 once and the last time I did the huge conversion project on my current Ranger.

now I'am not completely sure but wouldn't making a EDGE a 4wd easy considering its a 4wd setup with 2wd torsion bars and all
