First timer....need suggestions....

I'm new to adding lifts, I have been looking at Fabtech's spindle lift (http://www.ultimateautoaccessories.com/page/UAA/PROD/LKS/FTS98300-7). What are the Pros/Cons of installing a spindle kit vs. another type lift?

Your gunna end up with a slightly wider wheelbase and they don't increase wheel travel, spindle lifts are extremly common lifts

So would you recommend adding a Spindle lift or should I use another type lift?

I think he's saying that a spindle lift increases the ground clearance on the front of the truck. A coil spring lift wouldn't change the ground clearance, but would "raise the body" & give you more front fender/tire clearance. Changing to modified control arms would help do both-but don't quote me-I just wanted to give u something to think about--kinda depends on how much time, money, & enthuiasm you've got.

I want to do it the right way the first time, and I dont mind dishing out a little dough. Just want some input from others who have done this before.

while you're waiting for them to get off work, look thru some of the posts to get a better idea of what it involves. Oh, by the way, the only way you'll get it right the first time is if you don't change a thing after you've bolted all the mods. on.
