Hey guys, I recently picked up this well cared for example of a 1992 Ranger XLT 2.3 5spd single cab with 89K miles
before i got it the guy JUST did this stuff:
- new battery
- new tires (w road hazard)
- new fuel pump
- new windshield
so i've spent about 600 bucks on it after purchase:
- new headlights
- new instrument cluster (w/tach)
- new RABS unit
- R134a AC conversion/recharge
- glued in the 3 plugs that leak in the transmission
purchase price? 1000 bucks
so far the only lasting issue has been the fuel gauge not working correctly (definitely isn't the instrument cluster, so i have to check the sending unit harness next).
all in all i'm super happy. this is by far the best deal i've ever been blessed with.
