First time Ford owner

Hey guys I just picked up a 94 ford ranger. Its an auto with the 4.0 motor and I believe the 3.55 rear. It is a 2wd regular cab long bed. I originally bought it as a beater daily driver but have grown to love it. It is my first domestic vehicle I have owned and I think it has sold me on a newer ranger in the future. My concerns are a fair amount of underbody rust even though the body looks great and the engine has 148k miles on it. Still runs strong tons of power but has a miss at idle im hoping its just plugs but I havent had time to swap them. This summer I plan on doing some work and since all my vehicles in the past have been boosted who knows what I may do with this. A boosted daily driver would be nice. Anyways heres a picture of my truck next to my car.

Yea my "new" Ranger has a fantastic looking body on the outside but plenty of rust under....but from all the vehicles I looked at before buying one it seemed pretty common.

And 148K? Taken care of? Cause then I'd say that's nothing
