First System. Pics inside

if it is the xm2200gtx, then here are the specs on it http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158XM2...xm2200gtx&ssi=0&tp=115&tab=features_and_specs
i assume you are wiring it in bridged fashion so that you can get 500w rms to 1 4ohm sub. im not sure how deep your box is but you could pair it with another sony xplod sub (not the best choice but it would match the amp), or a sub of any other brand as long as you make sure that the rms rating of the sub is equal to or a little greater than the 500w rms your amp will be feeding it. heres a quick search of the requirements you need http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&q=500w+rms+4+ohm+12"+subwoofer&spell=1&oi=spell , hopefully you can find something in your price range that will be shallow enough to fit in your box.

if my searches are correct. that LA has a 5.7'' mounting depth. so finding a sub to fit wont be that hard.

if it were me i would just run one channel or get two subs.

that LA had a 400 watt rms. so a few things went wrong. you sent the sub a clipped sig, or your nobs were way off. or both. but finding a 300rms sub cheaply is easyer. and it can cut out one of your problem right off the bat.
