First Ranger

I just bought my first truck yesterday, a 94' Ford Ranger and I know little about them but I know mine needs a lot of TLC. So I'll start by asking what year seats are compatible with the 94'. I would like to go from the 60-40 to buckets or a nicer 60-40. Any help is greatly appreciated and I will most likely be posting often for various things.

I have a '94 as well, over 300,000 and no complaints

Pretty much all Ranger seats are interchangeable.
The Rangers have a seat base that can change from generation to generation, but the seats all have the same spacing on the 4 bolt holes that bolt to the base so........

Get the new seats, with or without bases, remove your old seats, and swap bases if needed, you may not need to.

Thanks I forgot to ask yesterday, but also are there any seats from say an s-10 or a similar truck that are interchangeable if I cannot find any Ranger seats at my local junkyard?

Have not read any one doing a non-ford seat swap, but outside of the seats being too wide to close the doors, lol, I would think you could make an adapter plate for any non-ford seat to ford bracket hook up.

Here are other Ford seats that swap but they are for the most part bucket seats, not 60/40s

Thanks again for the expertise, ill take a look around my local junkyard and see if i can't dig up some gems. Those Escort GT seats look really good, and it will probably come down to what i can find whether or not I go bench or bucket
