First Ranger Rescue

So today, I got to do my first rescue in my Ranger. A buddy from work has a relatively new VW and its oil pressure light came on. I had to pull him about 5 miles, through the middle of town, across the interstate etc. to a repair shop. The funniest thing though was that he's from Germany and was freaking out because apparently towing another vehicle is a major no-no there. At least it saved him the $50 for a tow truck, and he bought me beer!

I was fired up. I'm all "Dude, get a Ranger and you won't have to get towed again." Besides, those Europeans know how to drive a stick.

its great i got to drag my sons friend ( dead montecarlo.) right across the city one saturday night the old 88 ranger 4x4 save the day once again i love it!!!

Oh man...I can't count how many times I had to tow a good friend of mine. All 3 of his cars were nothing but trouble. An '85 camaro, an early 90's sunbird and his early 2000's grand am...which he still drives. And I make sure I rub it in his face every time! >

Edit: I've also towed a buick, a mazda, a tempo which was over the snow bank and in the ditch, and a single axle rig (without trailer) that was stuck in a snow field. All this with my '93 2x4 2.3L
