The first on the list is my 2.3 its ok i drive it everywhere and it has never left me stranded (Here is the mud pic i have several of them it loves the mud only got stuck twice of several trips)

The second is my project its a 2002 and i got it totaled

This is how i got it (I forgot to get pictures of during the tear down but i used my 2.3 as a pull for the frame stuff bent before front suspension so just the bumper mounting provisions

and after market cat and exhaust

The specs of the 02 4.0

My grandfather gave me that truck in its current condition of the front end being offset by like 11" Frame is strait now and working on getting that front clip.

Always nice to see an RBV being brought back to life.
Good luck my friend!! :icon_thumby: Keep us posted!

It has new pictures the entire front end is rebuilt except for the bumper will have new images in a few hours.

Just for informational purposes this rebuild has so far only cost $475 since i did all the repairs myself.

It is going to a frame shop to finish the frame pull for another $180 (Bartering at its best)

Heres the image updates. Front end almost complete already driving.

It is still heading to the frame shop to get the front part of the frame completed, I also am going to be in need of a complete bumper and i am thinking about putting the edge grill on even though i just bought the one in the picture it is brand new.

I think the next update will be a little ways away i have run out of funding for the frame work, So now i have to get ahead again to get the completion parts, Unless someone would like to donate so frame labor and a front bumper?

Still needed to complete the re build is:

A/C Condensor
Fan Shroud
One of the A/C Lines
Front Bumper and Stuff
Some minor Frame pulling

I sold my 95 to get my explorer out of the garage and to get some parts for the 2002. The explorer failed Smog (Damn California Smog) All i need are the cats, I have a 94 ranger which i am going to try and swap the cats on to see if they will pass my fingers are crossed and hopefully it will pass.

*UPDATE*
The rangers paint is being made by a family member that works in a paint manufacturing place. He says he can match the color but if he can't i will repaint the entire truck.

lookin like new, sans paint. I can appreciate the work you've done as I have replaced the entire front end on my ranger. I was lucky enough to not have to remove my steel inner fenders. But mine got a core support, radiator, fenders, and hood. Wish I had swapped to your style front end in the process but the funds weren't there.

The truck is going under the knife again, Hopefully around March i will be performing major surgery. Frame transplant the frame is coming from a matching donor.

Does anyone know if i can use the 99-2000 frame on my 2002 ranger?
