First Gen Ranger Seat Swap

i have read the post on ranger seats and have yet to find anything about this. Has anyone attempted to swap ranger seats from a newer 60/40 seat into a first gen ranger with a standard cab.

That link doesnt work ive looked at similar post but i only had the stock bench seat which i dont have anymore and im trying to swap to a newer generation 60/40 seat. was wondering what i need to do to get them to bolt into the original mounting holes on the floorboards.

You can pretty much swap pretty much anything you want. you just need your original seat tracks

That link doesn't work.

Basically you need to get a set of Gen1 or two 60/40 seat tracks from a regular cab truck and bolt the new seat that you want to them.

Worked when I posted yesterday....but that was yesterday. All you have to do is go to the search function and put in "seat rail swap" It will tell you everything you need to know.

I took some seats out of an 87 (60/40) and put them in my 84 years ago. your gonna have to get the rails for the 60/40 and your gonna have to drill a couple of holes (4 total) next to the transmission tunnel. The bench seat just has the holes (2 on each side) on the outside. Mine weren't an exact fit, but close enough to fit without major mods (just the 4 new holes and 4 bolts).
