Well, Saturday we bought a '1994 Ranger eXtra Large Turtle, and it's my first vehicle and something of an early birthday present, seeing as I turn 20 in 12 days. AC doesn't work, needs the EGR cleaned to pass emissions (if I can find it), could use a fuel system cleanout, the brakes wobble, and it needs an alignment. On the plus side, clutch is fine, shifts into all gears without balking, and has enough power to not require downshifting on the absurd hills in the area.

Had to give myself a crash course to drive it.

Well, there's mud (fine GA clay particles) stuck to half of everything in the engine bay, in the coolant and PS fluid, and I removed 15 pounds of dirt, gravel, debris and mouse nest from the bed, washed away 10 more pounds of fine stuff, all hidden beneath the bed liner. Looks like someone played rough with this thing, it's got new highway tires up front, and some real worn A/Ts in back, seems like someone wanted a 4x4, not a 4x2.
