Hey!

Some people may recognize the nick from some of the Mustang boards that I'm on - or maybe not. Don't know if there are too many of the people I know that hang around here or not. It does look like a great site with a good bunch of people.

My daily driver was getting tired and I decided that I wanted to go back to driving a pickup this time around. I originally thought that I'd get a new full size, but they're pretty proud of those and I didn't want to spend that much, even if it were an option. Wound up looking used and decided if I were to get a smaller truck, I wanted four wheel drive since small 4x2's tend to get stuck at the thought of snow. I lucked out and found a super clean '04 FX4 Level II that's pretty loaded. Other than some rock chips, the body is flawless. It doesn't even have a door ding in it. It doesn't appear to have ever been off road and if it has, it was light duty and not often.

it'll function mainly as a daily driver, parts hauler, and for hauling stuff for home projects. I'll probably occasionally take it off road, but nothing too serious, just to play in the mud a bit or climb an embankment. I plan on keeping it stock for now, although I do want some sort of tool box for the bed and I think the extended cab needs some sort of cubby holes that fit under the jump seats and I may fabricate something at some point.

I have an '82 Mustang GT (thus the nick) that I autocross and run in open track events that I've been wrenching on for a couple of years. This is pretty much where all my spare money goes. So far the biggest changes I've made is to convert it over to four wheel disc brakes (Ford Racing Cobra conversion kit) and swap in an 8.8 that I modified to keep the stock traction bars. I still have a long way to go, but I'm slowly getting there.
