My hometown supposedly either has a tornado in it right now or close to it. The news channel has three little spinny things surrounding the town. This is where my family (Dad, Mom, and somewhat little bro) live, as well as pretty much all of my toys and aside from 3 fish all of my pets. Toys can be replaced but I don't know what I would do if I lost everything in one foul swoop.:no2:

I am an hour away, just somewhat dark clouds (nothing too bad) in their direction, and a huge bugger out to the west, for now it looks like Omaha is going to miss everything. They are all moving really slow, like 15mph so they pretty much just sit there and grind away.

If that half dead mullberry tree we have been meaning to cut down that is leaning over my Ranger's shed survives this I think we have little fear from it falling from anything else.:shok:

Dude, start praying. That's the best thing to help me out when any kind of danger threatens my family.

God Bless!!

best of luck, know how that feeling is. instead of tornados ,we get to deal with wild fire's here in california. and earthquakes, but I like those.

I finally got ahold of them, everybody is ok. While getting everything ready before it hit our Chocolate Lab that is terrified of storms went running for the house door to ride it out instead of his usual hideout in the garage (he has only done that once before), after much coaxing he finally went into the garage (he was really muddy from playing in the mud after our last storm), horses were already in the barn, and the cow went out and called the calf into the barn as well, funny how they could all tell something bad was coming. The only one unknown is the cat, he is probably holed up somewhere in the barn as well.

They said even now it is like a big continous lightning strike with a lot of hail and wind. Needless to say they haven't ventured from the basement yet but it still isn't over.

hope everything is ok with your family.been a busy year for tornadoes.i've been rolled out of bed several times durring the night by sirens, and watched the weather stations for many hours this spring.we have been hit hard in many areas of ga,including atlanta.

we have had nothing like minn and iowa though, and that is a blessing.my heart goes out to those communities,i know what clean up is like.worst for my family was in iowa 1968,no one hurt but a lot of damage.

man I hope everthing is good to go for you. and glad to hear the family is good so far. I grew up in tornado country in the farm lands of colo. I every now and then I think of moving back. but then my soon to be wife, freaks when we get a strong wind. (and we don't even live in a trailer.)

Well everything came out ok from that storm and the 3 that followed, as of last weekend they were at roughly 8" of rain in the last week and a half.

Now it is getting cranked up again:

I have camped there several times as a scout, it was a really nice park.:shok:

Frickin wierd weather we have been having :pissedoff:

The town above Columbus, Indiana had 11" of rain in a 24 hour period--almost all of it between 3 and 4 am on Saturday. There are three rivers that meet in Columbus--one rose more than 5 feet above any historical crest. And it happened fast. And it was gone fast. And thoguh it was the highest crest, there were three other record crests for that river set--all made in 2008. 1913 was the 5th.

Yeah, it's been weird weather. But the Chinese have made a weather control satellite and they are responsible.

Fortunately, we have a siesmatic control machine and have proven we are ready to counter the threat. Greasetfingers has all the links that prove this.

Thank god the balance of power is in place.

Yeah, you guys have had it rough too, no doubts there.

Just really rare by now, most people are not even done planting yet, and those that are going to have to replant anyway, and then we keep getting these tornadoes. There was one about 10 miles west of my parents place last week.

You think I'm joking--it's the Chinese.

One of the guys I work with was friends of the family of one of the kids that was killed. It really sad, summer camp is always supposed to be a fun time.

They are thinking the brick chimny was knocked down and did most of the damage was hit by a airborn pickup truck.

Right now they are calling it an EF-2, but it could go to a EF-3.

we got them back with that seismic machine, although it wasen't powerful enough to topple their new megadam:D but we'll fix that:icon_thumby:

earthquakes and tsunami's in the phillipines? we're just getting rid of the terrorist camps on the beaches

but all this is too secret for even the forbidden knowledge site.they'll need to eliminate us now that its out to keep it quiet;brownbag;

To keep it Ranger related for those watching it was a Ranger that hit the building. The place looks pretty much trashed.

There is a video here:

It was the red pickup off to the right of the building that got leveled.
