I am fed up with stiff suspension!

I have a 94 regular cab 4x4 w/ 4cyl 5spd and no extra weight to speak of. Then add a james duff extended radius arm lift kit with 6" skyjacker coils dual front shocks and skyjacker leafs in the rear makes for one bumpy ride. The blocks have been removed and rustys extended shackles have been put on.

I would like to get more out of my truck because I barely flex my suspension when I jump the damn thing. Every imperfection in the road is felt in my spine. What is a good way to run softer dual front shocks and make the rear end suck down more instead of looking like a pogo stick with out using fox shocks or bypass?

The current setup is dual procomp es1000 and james duff rear shocks.

Not to say it will answer all of your problems with the ride but try a Hydraulic Shock instead of the Gas Shocks; they will fade faster than Gas Shocks but they will ride better.
Running a lower rate spring will only reduce ride height so that may not be an option.
Did you order the Softride Springs from SkyJacker ?
Before doing anything, contact SkyJacker and see what their Tech Dept has to say.

when I ran the 6" lift in my '88 Ranger w/5.0L, I used the Softride Kit the ride was good, w/ the 5.0L I lost a little lift but the ride remained OK.
