i have a plastic tank that is broken right at the filler neck inlet and i hoper i have fixed(only time will tell). anyway was wondering if anyone has built or had built an aluminum tank that would fit in stock location and use the stock fuel pump...

Well if you were building it, it would fit the location and pump because you have those specs.

Wrecking yard would be good place to find replacement

Yah , the way the plastic tank is molded to the frame rail would be a major PITA to re-produce. Its an old Ford. I would be 'Yarding :D

not alot of yards in this area for one. one of the 3 yards won't just sell a part or 2 you have to by the whole vehicle.. two other two yards tell me they don't have any and they won't let you into yard.

Gotta be someone with replacement tanks out there. Several years ago I bought a new tank for my '63 T-Bird.

I think safety would dictate a new or intact fuel tank or even a fuel cell. Gasoline makes to good of a bomb to screw around with.

What year are u lookin for have a 99 3.0 tank
