I finally Got all my parts to start my sas. :yahoo:

99 Ranger 2wd, with a 2.5L turbo'd. I have a D60 for the front and 14Bolt for the rear. My transfer case is a Np205 divorce mount.

Im gonna be running 8" chevy leaf springs in the front, and 6" inches in the rear. And I might extend the wheelbase a couple inches if I have too.

I have a couple questions,
Can I solid mount the case or does it need to have a rubber mount?

What steering box do you guys run? I plan on running my stock pump, and using a toyota box, anyone know if this will work?

And last but not least, gears. what ratio would ya'll recomend for 38"-42" tires with a 4cyl pushing them? This truck will see mud, muddy trails, and sand bars. Thanks guys:icon_cheers:

no to solid mounting the t-case. yes to yota box. 5.13 gears in the axles and you need to purchase a lomax kit for the NP205.

5.13's sound good to me. As well as full spools front/rear. (yeah its gonna be driven on the road)

On the yota box, I'm assuming I'm gonna have to get custom lines made to hook it up?

Its no prob to fab a rubber mount in to the crossmember I just wanted to be sure. I've had some guys tell me to solid mount it.

And can you go into further detail about the lomax kit and why I would need it?
