finally some snow!

ahh i have been waiting for snow to come since i got my truck a month ago! its finally here! and boy did it come!! for this weekend 50 cm were supposed to come, and i think pretty close to 40 came today!!

I've just spent the last two hours clearing the driveway...I'm not impressed...of course, about half an hour of that was spent going to get more gas because I ran out...and there were cars stuck everywhere...

oh man thats brutal! yea here in my house, we are a little ol' school

no gas to clean the driveway, therefore no gas to run out of haha
as for people, they are stuck everywhere, to get to my house you have to take one of 2 streets, one is a hill, and the other is a steeper hill, there is a lineup of people like taking shots at it and like failing miserably, pretty funny though!

There is a really steep hill just south of my road but the snow plows are at the end of my street so they don't have far to go to sand/salt/plow...biggest PITA are the snow plows...even though I appreciate them and know some of the drivers...but they always manage to go by just after I finish clearing the end of the driveway...

haha, i got my first real bad snow driving experience today, driving down my road goung home theres an s bend thats uphill, left than right, well a car is coming around the turn at about 30 in 3 inches of snow, on my side of the road(in a tauris!) so i hit the brakes and try to pull off to the side of the road,
all of a sudden i feel the truck sliding, ****, im in a ditch, ok so i hop out and lock em in, throw it into 4hi, and reverse, drop the clutch at 2 grand and spin my way back, and put it up, and went through the frontyard, threw the ditch and up the road with a big smile without slowing down, good times

Our weatherman says there's a big one coming tommorrow (for us 8in is big). I goofed. Last summer I bought 4 235/75R15 studded snows on F150 rims that have never been on the road for $100. I never got around to switching the tire over to the Ranger rims.
Alternate plan "B". The Ranger is chained up on its street shoes with the hubs locked waiting for the snow to hit.

gawd, i used to like getting a lot of snow, but in the last couple days, we've had 14 inches. the plow on my tractor isn't that tall..... nothing better than multiple passes to get it piled in the corner.

i'm drinking to make the snow go away...

I've tried that too...just wake up and have to shovel hung over...not a good combination...

yea that is pretty sick

but since a live like in the heart of the city, its very hard to get that done...thats why i bought my gf the fireplace channels DVD last year for christmas haha

Hahaha...I've actually watched that a few times...when there were no hockey games on and I got bored of the comuter...not quite the same...

I was living in a farm house a few years ago that had three wood fireplaces...mostly just used the one in the main living room...it was a bit of work to keep it going though...heated the house up pretty good...

But this place has two gas fireplaces that are easier to maintain...lol...if I could just keep the cats off of them I might be able to turn them on some night...they love it because the pilot light keeps it warm.
