Finally running around on all 4's again!

Well, the ol' blue beast is up and running on all fours again!!well, running in 2wd until i get enough cash to have the front taken in and finished up. just got the rear back with newly installed 4.56 gears, she fought long and hard through the whole process of me throwing it back under her. Took it for a test drive and it does seem to move a lot better, tho i wish i woulda went with 4.88s(when and if these gears go, i'll upgrade to 4.88s). Love getting to drive it again, during the test drive she through another temper tanrum and kicked the tailgate off and got some roadrash on it. Ahh well, here are some teaser pics, gonna try to get some better pics tomorrow, gonna change the oil and try to get the rear e-brake cable hooked back up

I agree, should have went 4.88's. The 3.0, like my 2.3, need rpm's, more than they know.

I'm sure the 4.56's are a big improvement over what you had, though.

The wheels were actually on my old 89 ranger 4x4 i used to have but totaled it out. I had a set of Black 15x10 wheels on the truck when i first got it but sold them with my 01 ranger. I have no idea what the rims actually came off of, but i have only seen 2 cherokees with rims kind of like those, so your guess is as good as mine lol. new wheels are definately in the future, the wife already gave me the nod to find some

Welp,i'm heading on up to trails west sometime tomorrow before they close to try and pick out some new rims for it! Gonna be 15x10s, i cant remember what the backspacing and everything that were on the old black steelies i used to have but it gave it a nice wide stance. I'm hoping to find a wheel up there that will give it that wide track again.
Almost bought the Mickey Thompson Side-Biters last night but the website wasnt working correctly when i tried to order them. Soi'm just gonna head up to trails west and take a gander. Anyone know if they mount and balance on the weekends that live around that area?

Alright, checked the bank this morning to find out that my order did go through. The new rims should arrive at my doorstep monday. Hopefully have enough time to get them put on monday morning before work, but if not they will def. be put on before the weekend, plus my gears are just about broke in so i can take it for some mild offroading and try to snag new pics with the new rims. So Don't Change that web address, there's more to come!

Well, i just got off the phone with 4 wheel parts to track my order. They said thatmy order has been Voided because the manufactorer of the wheel has recalled thoserims because of fitment issues AARRRGG!!!!!, if they would have told me that saturday when i called them to find out when i would recieve the wheels i could have went to trails west and already had a set. Now i either have to order a diff set of wheels and or wait for the weekend, kinda pisses me off that they could have told me that saturday and now i have to wait even longer to find another set of wheels that i want.

Alright, got some things straightened out on the rims since they arrived monday around 4pm even tho i was told they wouldnt come. The new rims are on and its lookin pretty good, nice wide looking stance. Might take some shots with my phone OR I'll wait for the weekend and get some mild wheeling pics, cant do much 4wd action since my front 4.56s arent installed yet STAY TUNED!
