Finally made my cb setup

I took a similar aproach to mounting my CB in my F-150. I found an old CB base, ditched the petrified speaker and nabbed some textured plastic off of a old VCR, trimmed it down to fit in the hole and stuck the switch for my lights on it. I would like to put a tranny temp gauge on in it sometime too so I left room for it. The whole works just sits there, it has been there for almost a year and doesn't move unless I move it.

Kinda sad, I noticed the floor mounted shifter and parking brake on Ilikemice's truck before the RHD. :dunno:

Well The main time mine is in use is during the months between oct- feb when huinting season is in.... Keep in touch with other club members

Might I ask when you use your CB radio?:threadjacked:

I used mine a lot back when I lived in Omaha to listen for upcoming problems on the interstate (wrecks or other traffic slowdowns)

Now that I live in the sticks I don't really need it, nobody I know has one.

Yeah the screwdriver is holding it up in the pic, I had just put it in with the double sided velcro, so I wante dto make sure it would stick good. so i lleft the driver for a bout a day.

I did my CB setup this week too. I use an ancient Rotel rig attached to the centre console. It's hard to find somewhere to mount it to because it's so damn big.

It does the job though.

Finally made my cb setup
