got a few clearance issues, the hedders wont work, the dipstick tube is in the way and I had to use different motor mounts than planned but its all minor, i'll figure out the bugs as I go

sweet man, if im ever around there ill drop in

Looks good, how about a straight on shot of the motor to frame. Most pictures are bothered by having the fenders in the way, hard to see.

just started raining here so its all covered up, next chance I get ill snap one. The motor is going have to be shimmed to the right, the oil filter relocation kit is rubbung the steering box :( but thats all in the little things, I expect to come accross alot more as I get further into it. Here is a link to the full build

I have a set of those same headers you tried to use, what were the problems you ran into with them?where did they hit passenger side? How close to the steering box on drivers side?

they dont fit anywhere, they are in the way for steering, I could probably make the pass side fit with alot of cutting, my friend is using factory hedders from a mustang and they work well, might try to get a set

Thats what I used ,stang shortys.Had to change the front tube at the box to clear it.

The only Mustang shorty that fits with no mods is the left side 94-95 header. The tube routing for the #5 & 6 are different from the 79-93 headers. The right side for both requires a frame notch to fit.

The shims are some body mount washers I had kicking around, they are not perminant, before the trucks final assembely I will make a plate and weld it to the chasis, this is only for mock up purposes and I will be ditching the rag roint steering shaft for a more low profile U-joint setup
