I picked one up off craigslist a few weeks ago, and have been searching for all the missing pieces to get it installed. Finally got the last piece yesterday and got to work installing.

Stock shifter, complete with dead shift bushings.
Finally got my Hurst in!!

Hurst, installed and ready to rock.

That looks beautiful. I've been wanting to do that myself... now i know it needs to be done!

SSSSSWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTT!
Great looking install!

For sure! :headbang: Nice short throws and a really positive "click" into each gear.
The t-handle is taking a little getting used to, with the limited hand positions compared to a ball. I had to turn it just a little to fit me, I think the previous owner must have leaned more towards the center while driving because the angle was all wrong for me. It transfers a little more noise than stock, but whatever the flowmaster doesn't drown out can be eliminated with more stereo volume.

If you ever thought you wanted one, you really do. One good mod here, now I know why so many others are getting them too.

Looks good. Where did you get the t handle? It looks so much better than the standard ball.

You can get the t handle at Advanced Auto Parts among other places.

looks good, you may want a differnt knob come winter, that cast metal will be c-o-l-d! ive tried many different knobs but keep going back to the black hurst knob that came with my hurst.
