So I work at CarQuest and I deliver parts in northern Maine, the vehicle that I use a 05 Chevy Colorado 2WD, totally pile of crap. We just found out that we are getting two 2010 Rangers i'm hoping they will be 4WD, I will put some picts up as soon as we get them in June

You lucky dog!!!

Make sure the boss is nice enoigh to get one with a CD player & a stick for you!

I drive for Napa. Our delivery vehicles have CD players and it's definitely nice. I really don't see the need for 4wd though. What are you gonna do, go wheeling when you're supposed to be working? You'll probably get a 4 cylinder 2wd model. No business owner in his right mind would buy a 17 mpg truck when a 26 mpg one can get the job done just as well.

I work at a tractor repair shop, and the 4x4 in our '94 Explorer parts runner comes in mighty handy at certain times of the year (mud and snow). It is also nice to keep parts out of the weather too.

I prefer the cassette to anything else, I stick in my adapter and can listen to my MP3 player on long trips when I get parts. Even the '04 F-250 service truck has cassette, and I love it. :yahoo:

Here is the '94 after blizzard #1 last winter, I imagine being in Maine the OP sees similar storms. It made it out of that pile on the third run.

Sometimes the fully loaded 17 mpg truck is the one you get:D. Of course it is also a 2006, nowhere near as new and fancy as a '10:icon_thumby:

I have friends that use the GM and Chevy 4 door compact truck (4x4's) at their work for (Napa, Goodyear, etc) and they love them. They have not had any problems with them and they get to take them home every night and weekend.....do you???

Me? Not usually.

The only time I did was when I was changing my leaf springs. Besides they are basically the same truck, if I drove some econobox maybe I would ask about using it outside of work but a 4th gen's a 4th gen. And its given us no problems, I mean come on... it's a Ranger at a Ford dealership:D

hehe, i like cassatte tapes too, not only cause there tough, i dont have to worry about other ppl who ride with me wanting to play there crappy pop cd's
and the cassatte tape adaptor can be used to hook up an mp3 player! :headbang:

do the baseline ford truck models still come with tape, cause that'll be awsome!

Yep, that they do.

We have had a ton of problems with the Chevy, lost two heads on one of them, mine had gone thru three fuel pumps, four front calipers, and one gas tank. Given I put about one thousand miles a week on it, but im not hard on it just the northern Maine roads take a betting on any truck.

The Napa's around here that I have seen are using the panel versions of the Chevy HHR
