If got the 10.25" rotors on a 02 2wd. looking at all three spindle options I know of: Fabtech, Doetsch, & off brand (Spring Tech). I try not to post stupid questions and have searched up and down TRS. As far as rim back spacing, I've read stock rims work, and I've heard you must run different back spacing. Which is it?! Why is a different back spacing required? I'm guessing it's because the horizontal shaft (help me out here with the technical lingo) of the spindle of these lift spindles occurs directly in line with the LCA and must be pushed out to clear it by design. Key notes on the Doetsch site says "factory rims will work with some spindles". WTF?! Which ones? Then the tire and wheel chart indicates backspacing min = 3.5" (which I think is the stock rim setup, no?) and max = 4.5" Somebody clear this up, I'm going to get a damn stomach ulcer. :bawling:

Thanks,
TX Ranger

4.5" is the factory bs. the stock steels should work if you run 31's i know ive seen an 06 with stocks, spindles, and 31's and it worked with out issue. would also put less stress on the spindle snout then an aftermarket wheel with less bs, which will come in handy if you offroad the truck at all because you will eventually snap the snout off and be passed by your own wheel(pray for MickyD's parking lot and not while your on the freeway). if you just drive on the road, dont jump any speedbumps and you should be fine.

Ok, so I got one go ahead, any one else?

The spring tech guys says stock rims won't work, Fabtech says they're ok. So is this a manufacturer specific question?
