I am almost to the point of being done with my SAS. I put all 4 tires on and I am very happy with the results. Although the front is actually 2" higher than the rear but its not a problem. I was wondering if I should "trim" my fenders or add more lift?

Rear - Belltech 6400's, Chevy 63 springs, and a 2" lift block. Fender to center of wheel height approx 21"

Front - 4.5" lift EB Wild Horses Coil springs. Approx 23" from center of hub to fender.

Go to the junkyard and grab a set of 78-late 80's 2wd F150 leaf spring blocks. They're an inch or so taller than the stock ranger block. It's cheap and easy.

I would personally get an AAL kit to level that baby out. Btw, it's lookin good bud!

Thanks guys! I think I am going to grab a bigger block and see if that helps!

Dont forget that those coils will sag some so keep that in consideration. I vote trim some or move the wheel opening bigger like another guy did on here, looked badass.

Truck is looking great man, we'll have to hit up TSF sometime

that thing is CLEAN to be cutting on... but i even did a little cutting on mine lol

what are you plans for it? do you plans include hurting the body when offroading? if so... just trim it and keep your COG low-ish.

if you plan on keeping the body straight... lift it more.. or move the stock fender flare up, requires some body work but leave its clean and straight looking.

i dont know how it is where you live but i would get in trouble all the time for the tires sticking out so far. might want to invest in some cut out flares

This.
That looked so epic. He made the wheel well larger, but retained the factory body lines. Looked sick.

I would like to do that but I've never done any body work.

I am not so worried about getting pulled over. If I do I do...then I will take care of the problem. I have a friend who got pulled over for his tires sticking out a couple inches. And mine is 6" in the back. I hated how far the tires stuck out but once I got the front mounted I fell in love with the looks. It doesn't look retarted like I have 15" wide tires and 10" wide wheels. This is exactly what I wanted. I am still not sure if I will trim or not. I will leave it alone until I am completely done with the swap.

Just put some mudflaps on it right off the start. The cops around here will look at it and say atleast he's trying to cover it up.

Honestly I hate the look of mudflaps. Especially when they stick out from the fender! I would only mount them if they were flush with the side of the bed.

I'm wondering if I could take some cut out flares from say a f-150 (bigger wheel arch) and cut mine out to the same size. Basically making the wheel opening bigger but still have a factory look. If that makes any sense. lol :)
