does anybody know how much more tire coverage you would have with the stock fender flares. like 1/2" or 1//4" or what?

i think that would depend on what model year. my 1st gen has very little. the new ones have quite a bit in comparison. but the late model rangers looks to be maybe a couple of inches with those extended factory flares. just a guess.

nobody knows. i'm just talking about the difference in not having the flares on and having them on. i'm guessing its only like 1/2" more tire coverage with the flares on

Its a very small amount, there is a lip on the metal that only has 1/8 in of plastic covering it, so It dosnt add much coverage

If you are running aftermarket wheels, any change in offset will affect that as well. I wouldn't think it sticks out no more than an extra 3/4 inch.

it's only a 1/2 inch. nothing like those bushwacker flares.

yeah that's what i was assuming. i plan on running33x10.5's on a 15x8 with 3.25 bs. i know with out the flares the tires stick out like 1/2" so the flares should cover most of it up. i don't mind if the tires stick out a little bit. i think it looks cool anyway. thanks

yea, the flares on my 3rd gen are half inch

There probably gunna stick out at least an inch, mine have 3in of backspacing and they stick out about 3inches

but you are running 12.5's correct. i only want to run 33x10.5's. i looks up pictures of a 10.5 with 3.25 bs and i found one where it looked like it stuck out a little less than an inch so i'm cool with that

this has 3.3" backspacing

32x10.5 on a 10in wide rim, the backs are 11.5

well no wonder they stick out so far. a 10 inch rim with 3" of back spacing is ridiculous. haha. that means its going to stick out 2.25" more than the wheels i want. so i think the 15x8's with 3.25 will work out good
