Hey guys I've been browsing multiple forums for a few weeks now researching as much as I can about lifting my ranger.
The specs are:
1999 3.0l 5speed 140k miles
with a rebuilt clutch

As far as mods I've decided on lifting 2.5" with the fabtech control arms, AAL, and coils.

My noob questions are:
1. I've read on a few threads that some people wore out the fabtech ball joints rather quickly:icon_confused:. Is this a common issue or is it a fluke?
2. I've seen some people clear 31s on stock rims and stock height in 2wds. Will 31s look small with the 2.5" or should I go with 33s?

Thanks in advance.:icon_thumby:

I run the Fabtech 3 inch spindles and Springtech 2 inch taller coils on my '99. I run 33x12x5x15 tires. At the same time I added Procomp add-a-leafs on the rear (4 inches). I never have used Fabtech ball joints. I don't know anybody who has. I only use ball joints with the zerk fittings so I can lube them. I bought my Ranger new July '99. I added the suspension lift in 2000 and fit the 33's on with out any issues. In 2001 I add a 3 inch BL. I have never had any issues with my suspension lift. It is smooth and my truck handles well.
