Did you notice that Ford doesn't tell you about the January sales figures of the Ranger between 2009 & 2010. A 47.3% increase, but Alan Mulally doesn't want you to know that cause there's no more market for the compact pick-up in the U.S. Alan knows best, that's why we need to get Ranger owners into Focus's & Fiesta's to haul lumber etc. home from the home improvement stores.

I think the Ranger could outsell the F-150 and Ford's truck division would still see it as a pansy truck for weak effeminate men and actively try to convince upper management to ditch it.

Remember how the domestics said compact cars couldn't sell in America back in the fifties? And how they're saying compact trucks can't sell in America today? Yeah, they never learn, huh?

And there wasn't a demand for small cars for another 30 years either. Even then nobody liked them, they only got them for the milage and eagerly ditched them when gas got cheap again.

Kind of looks like Ford stole a lot of the Colorado's thunder to me...
