Necromancing threads I see lol. Happy Father's Day to all TRS Dads.

As for my Dad, he's driving through NJ with his other family, but I called him and wished him a Happy FD, plus a facebook post to him.

Working nights tonight , so we had a fantastic BBQ moose steak supper last night and just hung around the shop and my son kept me stocked with beer all day , and then after the moose steaks he gave me a new set of seat covers for my Mustang . With a son as great as mine I feel it's fathers day every day .
As far as my pops goes , I took the time to look at old photo's and remember all the good times from days long gone .... not a day goes by I don't think of him .

As a dad, I wish I could celebrate this Father's Day with my dad, but since he's passed beyond the rim, I am thankful for my sons being restored to a relationship with me.

All three of my step children wished me happy father's day and said I was the best daddy ever. My blood children I have not heard from in over ten years.

My parents and I went to an Italian restaurant for a nice lunch, then my mom decided to be a snob in the car and they preceded to talk about life all the way home...

for this fathers day i did noting but kick it with my grandpa all day and get a call telling me im gonna be a father soon haha

Mother's Day happens during the school year and the teachers make sure the kids produce a cubic mile of mother's Day crap.

Father's Day is in the summer break and if you have kids at home, they probably don't know about it.

I have 27 Father's Day notes--one from my 10-yo daughter, one from my 7 yo daughter and 25 from my 3-yo daughter. My 10 and 12 yo sons haven't done anything.

Dang Lifted your life is a never ending soap opera..... Anyhow later on my brother in law came over with his wife and kid.. Wife did a huge mess of kebabs on the grill. Drank waaaayyyy too much beer and soon everyone was dancing in the patio.... To VH-1 Classics..... Sort of tells on our age I guess.... Anyway it was a fun Father's Day. Hope y'all can say the same.

Damn 509.... your life is a wild ride! Congrats.

As for my Fathers Day, it was very fun. My 3 daughters each gave me a card (My 8 year old helped my 3 and 2 year old with theirs). I couldn't possibly be any prouder. They are all very special to their Daddy. They all have told me (even my 2 year old) that their favorite thing to do is go for rides in Daddy's Mustang.

:D

Oh.... I almost forgot. I took my 8 year old for a ride a couple of weeks ago.... when we were approaching our house on the way back she says to me "when you die Daddy.... this thing is sooooooo mine". I don't know if I should have been happy, or be careful that she's not behind me on the stairs.

My Father's Day was quite mild until youngest son called about his broken 89 Ranger which I gave him earlier this year. Hopped on the Kingston-Edmonds ferry and found no ignition and what he thought was a massive oil leak was just weeping from the left bank valve cover. We left Edmonds about 9:30 to catch a ferry from Seattle. He had the truck towed to his place. It felt good to help him out even if we didn't get it running. Next weekend, camping.
