Hello everyone.
I just got my son a 1884 Ranger 4x4 for Christmas and we will be rebuilding it over the next year, when he will be able to get a license. I appreciate this wealth of knowledge on the forum, and look forward to beginning the tear down as soon as the snow melts.
Happy New Year!

welcome! and you'll love it here... lots of info, make sure to read the whole tech library lol. i did, even tho i don't own some stuff that's listed in there. make sure you do a thread in the "under construction" forum. we love to watch builds and stuff even ifs its just a stock restore. just curious? what are the plans? 4.0? lift? sas? lol..

Welcome for sure! Sounds like a great project for the both of you. My dad was never into cars at all. Lot of info and some great people. Snow? Up here I hope it's gone by mid March.

I'd kill for a 1884 Ranger. It's probably worth millions.

Welcome. Might wanna edit your post, I think your confusing people. And good luck with that project. Start a build thread to document your progress when you start tearing it down. People here really like keeping track of other's projects. :icon_thumby: Hope you like your stay here. Good luck guys.

Welcome! That's such a great thing for you guys to bond with. My dad built many hot rods from the ground up when I was a kid. It's something I'll never forget. By the time I was a teenager, they were gone..He must of known I would of wanted to romp on em a little bit!

Post some pictures if you can! Better yet we have a build section here. You should document the whole thing there..I know you'd have quite a audience.
