fast Idle

Hello, was wanting to find out if anyone knew the possible cause for my truck to have a fast idle.. when you first crank it up.. and will continue on ... replaced the AIC valve, I took the TPS off, and cleaned the thottle body, is there a certain way the TPS is suppose to be on.. if so, can someone explain how to adjust this TPS sensor... I have a 1986 with a 2.3 FI engine, manual shift.. Thanks......

possible vaccum leak. check hoses for cracks, and you can spray water around intake manifold to find a vaccum leak there as well. good luck
