Fan clutch thread snapped off......HELP!!!!

I had the spanner wrench and breaker bar and snapped the
thread out of the waterpump.

If i buy a new waterpump, it has the thread on it right?
Or am I wrong, and the thread is not from the waterpump?

I need the problem fixed asap and I don't know what parts
I need, (I have the fan all setup to go back in, i just can't thread it
on anything)

Yes, threads are off the water pump.

So a brand new water pump will be the proper cure I assume.
And I'll have to replace the waterpump gasket and get some RVT
to bond it up and drain the coolant and refill it and all of that?

Gaskets usually come with new/rebuilt waterpumps. Be prepaired to twist off one or two of the waterpump bolts.

I'm still unsure if I should get a waterpump or an electric fan.
Since I already have a bunch of steps knocked out for the electric fan installation.
And the waterpump is still good.

Its either $210 (electric fan) and jus wiring the fan up.
Or about $100 for all of the parts necessary for the waterpump and alot more labor.

OUCH!

Go to the junk yard, and see what they got. I got my Zegro cool w/ 180 temp switch 16" for 100 off ebay.. I had to get a relay, fuse and do a little wiring. $100 sounds kind high for water pump swap...I'd probably go water pump route, it could be worse, just be glad it's not a '87 Marquis 5.0L where the water pump is held in my two sided threaded studs and every single accessory on the engine needs to be removed to get the water pump off.

my threads did the same thing, just do the water pump, mine was 51 bux from Advanced

Waterpumps cheap and easy to do. $40 for lifetime warranty, $21 for one year at Autozone
