Not a converstaion for electric vs belt driven.
Mine is shot. along with the fan clutch.
I dont want to spend 140.00 for a fan from ford.

So i have been looking at this..
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLX-5715/Application/?query=Liter|2.9

I see that LMC has one for like 39.99 but it is for a 2.9 with a/c.

I dont have AC, does it really make a differance on the fan clutch fans?
Has anyone had any experience with the flex a lite fan blades?
Input would be great.
Thanks

Details, man, details! What motor do you have in that b-II, it sounds like you have upgraded to a 4.0, did you?
As far as fan choice, I'd go to the wrecker.

Let me guess, it has cracks all around the hub in between the blades?

Define "shot".

If it hasn't flown apart, and engages (or is just stuck engaged) just drive it.

:icon_cheers:
and no, it still has the 2.9 in it.
it still goes around. sounds like a jet, but still goes around. more gutless now than it has been. takes about 1/2 throttle to take off from a stop light.
will driving it this way cause other issues later?
