Bronco II fan belts for power steering and alternator. I've picked up new ones to replace the ones I discarded. My problem is the new ones are longer than the old. I can only find the two belt sizes. Anyone else have this problem on the 2.9 and is there other fan belts that fit the V? I can't even tighten the power steering down, it's that loose.

get the number off the old belts

Any good auto place should have belts by the inch. If not try tractor supply place or maybe small engine place.

This is one of those bonehead moments plus the fact I took everything apart a year ago and now I'm putting it back together. It helped when I put the pulley wheel back on the water pump, doh!

Back about 10 years ago, I bought Motorcraft v-belts from the dealer for my 87 Ranger 2.9 (no A/C) and it took two of the same part # v-belts, according to the dealer. Not two different sizes.
