New LUK clutch, the disc cannot be installed backwards or you'd never bolt down the pressure plate.

When I installed the master couldn't orient the pushrod suitably to get it lined up with the hole in the master and clip on to the clutch. I left the master through the firewall hole, then when it came time to hook it up I opened the bleeder and pushed the master through that infernal square hole and locked it in place.

Clutch is way too high, lever up against the dashboard near the pivot.

Can't find any similar stories. I think I'm going to have to start over with new hydraulics.

Thanks for any help!

FX4 models were not made in 96. The only thing I can say about the rest is; improper installation and/or wrong parts.

If Quick Connect on Master/Slave hose is not connected correctly you will not be able to push down clutch pedal, fluid can't travel thru it into the slave
