What are the widest factory rims that were for our trucks? And the lightest? I am sure they are not the same lol. I want to keep the stock look but need a wider tire on the back. Thanks

As far as I know 7” is the widest that factory rims ever came. As far as which one is lightest, I have no idea. It would be one of the aluminum ones. Based on appearance, which doesn’t always mean anything, the 16” rims that come on the Sport models might be the lightest. Maybe.

I believe they were 7 inch.
I would think that the Alcoa wheels were probably the lightest of the bunch.

I would agree with Uncle Gump on the Alcoa wheels, but I am really surprised on how light the stock deerhoof rims on my 97 are...

Just looking at them my vote would be the later FX4's, they had a really spindley looking wheel.
Alcoas are pretty solid and they are forged so they should be heavier (but stronger) than the same wheel that is just cast.

Well there is the 15" vs. 16" thing.... the 16" also have a smaller hub center. It would be pretty close I'm sure....
