i have a 92 ranger 5 spd, 2wd. i been reading bout yall "crankin the torsion bar?" for a little lift or leveling or sumthing? I know almost nuthin about suspension unless it concerns hard cornering. ididnt see any parts on mine that adjust. did i miss sumthing in the posts? or did i miss sumthin else?

you are 2wd. No torsion bars to crank on the 2wd except the EDGE model. Plus (someone confirm this for me) the Ranger didn't get t-bars til the 4th Generation when they went to SALA suspension.

You're right about the 4th gen thing, I think it was 97? Neither 2wd or 4wd had torsion bars untill then.

i found what i was looking for but not on the truck, as mine isnt 4wd, thanks for the info tho. it prompted me to check other tech sections and found some nice lifts for the 92 2wd.... thanks matt
