So I plan on adding a set of oem fogs to my ranger, I found the factory valance on fleebay for for 23 bucks. Now I wonder if there are special brackets that go behind the valance for the fogs to mount to.

Any idea?

Perfect, I just tore mine out (it's a 93 as well) as I'm trying to make clearance wherever I can.
The fog lights are held by huge cast brackets, like no shit, bomb proof brackets. The plastic valence is just held on by clips I believe. The brackets u should be able to get from a wrecker.

aha, I am debating on finder a set of after market fogs( Better than oem anyway) and make my own brackets or just drill into the bottom of the bumper.

Thanks for the info LilGreen

Factory fogs are generally perceived as bright especially with Hids from the incoming traffic point of view because of glare due to reflector fogs and probably less noticeable from the driver behind the wheel point of view.
